IMPORTANT: Members With FFA Characters
IMPORTANT TO ALL MEMBERS WITH PBA CHARACTERS
All FFA characters must undergo standardization if they wish to participate in the FFA Battle Areana. This update will make the FFA system more organized, user friendly, and all around efficient. By standardized, I mean that all character pages must be in the format portrayed by the following guide. In short, you are responsible for editing your FFA thread so that it looks like this:
(Note: The following Guide was made primarily by AtokNiiro- a big thanks to him.)
Your FFA character page will be a representation of your character as a whole. When designing a character, do your best to make sure that your character is both balanced and unique.
Your FFA character thread must look somewhat similar to this:
Title

Name: real name here
Age: age of character here
Backstory
Here you are to write a story to clarify the background of the character. With the story you can tell the world just what kind of character your character is — is he evil, misunderstood, valiant, heroic? And why? What are his motives? Is there a twist? Goals? Ideals? Tell it through the story of how your character decided to compete in the FFA Battle Arena.
Make it detailed, and make it exciting to read. Be as original as possible- don't depend on your favorite anime, movie, or video game to give you ideas on who your character is. Your character will NOT be approved if it is derived directly from the universe of an existing continuity. No Saiyans allowed.
And last, but not least, proofread and use correct punctuation. There is nothing more annoying than reading a paragraph devoid of commas, crammed with ellipses or random capitalization.
Ability
Here you are to describe your characters abilities and powers, and how he uses them. Keep in mind that your character should not have too many abilities. We want all of the characters in this system to be balanced. A good way to ensure this is by giving your character one primary ability, and one secondary ability. Note that this formula is not always acceptable, and will depend on how powerful an ability makes your character, but its good place to start. Overpowered characters are the main reason behind people's FFA's not being approved. Use self-control, and you'll be off to the races in no time.
Fighting style (optional)
If your character has a specific style of fighting (graceful, fierce, sloppy, etc.) describe it here.
While this isn't relevant for all characters, some characters may have certain characteristics or things in their background story that results in them having a certain style.
Strengths
Does your character have an advantage over certain types of foes?
Does his abilities grant him resistance towards certain elements or weapons?
Write it here, and go in detail why!
Weaknesses
As stated before, a good character is a balanced character, and to be balanced, you need weaknesses.
First and foremost, consider whether your character's abilities could lead to specific weaknesses.
For example, if your character utilizes fire cloaking, he might find himself weak to frost and water.
Consider the strengths and weaknesses, and see if they feel balanced or if they are too dependent on very specific conditions, and balance them out.
Stats (optional)
While this part might not be that necessary after having described your character in rich detail, it may provide a visual overview of your character's stats. You could for example provide a bar graph with values of 0-5 being assigned to such fields as Strength, Agility, Defense, Intelligence, Special Ability, and so on.
Availability
Here you will list the conditions of challenging you.
That means that if you only accept challenges from people of certain ranks, write it here.
You will also want to write which version of Pivot is for (for universal compability, make your stick in Pivot 2).
Wins/Losses
Post the results of your battles here
For easily making your thread, here is the raw BB code of the standardized layout with formatting — simply paste your text into the proper sections:
